My thoughts:
I have to say, it did start off a bit slow; however as it got towards the middle-point of the episode, that's when everything started going.
In the loft, as RJ was explaining to the others how he powered the claw up with Elephant, Shark, and Bat spirits', I was a bit confused. I know Casey, Theo, and Lily can summon those spirits', but how could RJ power the claw without the spirits being summoned? I liked the idea of it all, and how it was inevitably supposed to "destroy" the Master's (which would have been pretty grave event in Jungle Fury); there was just a some confusion.
The surprise attack in the Jungle was well done. It was as if the tension within that battle, was all leading up to the Master's demise. And although it didn't turn out that way, we were able to feel RJs pain as he mourned for his father's "death". David continues to show his true colors as an actor. That RJ/Lily scene really showed how they shared a deep chemistry, when they shot that scene together. Loved it!
Flit saving the day owned the entire episode! That was brilliant! I'm glad Flit got his "15 minutes of fame" in this episode. Not to mention the growth of his friendship with RJ since, "True Friend's, True Spirits".
Some may have noticed this; the Spirit Ranger's fighting styles are way different compared to the other Ranger's. I'm glad they did that. Master Phant has an aggressive approach when he fights, while Finn and Swoop has a bit of fluid/softer touch to their style. Great detail! Every fight scene, morphed and unmorphed...Amazing! Especially the father/son fight against the Rin Shi and Dai Shi. EPIC!
Reiterating what I basically said above, this episode was worth every moment. The fights, plot, and overall brilliance is everything Power Rangers is all about. 5/5!
