Home Is Where The Heart Is

Summery: These are one-shots of my favorite couples.

Chapter 1 Pairing: Jason/Kimberly

Timeline: In the Lost Galaxy season.

Angel Grove
Scott Residence
Master Bedroom

Jason Lee Scott lay on his back on the bed with his hands laced behind his head as he looked up at the ceiling.

“Jason?”

Jason turned his head to face his girlfriend of 3 years, Kimberly Ann Hart who was looking at him in concern. “Are you ok?”

Jason sighed. “Just thinking.”

“About Zordon?” Kim asked.

“How’d you know?” Jason asked as he turned his head to face him.

Kim smiled. “I’ve known you since the diaper years.” She giggled then frowned, “We all miss him.”

Jason turned his head to look up at the ceiling. “I never thought we’d have to say goodbye to him.” He paused. “If I’ve known that, then I would have visited him one last time.”

Kim sniffed back her tears. “All of us would have.” She whispered.

Jason got up from the bed and walked over to his dresser, pulling open the top drawer he reached in and pulled a small dark purple velvet box.

Kim rolled to her back before sliding up and watching him. “Jase, what are you doing?”

With his back still turned to her, he smirked before turning around to face his confused girlfriend.

“Jase?” The brunette asked. “Your scaring me.”

Jason walked up to the foot of the bed and held the small box up.

Kimberly’s doe brown eyes shifted to the box in his hands and she gasped. “Jason.” She breathed. “Is, is that what I think it is?”

Jason opened the velvet box to reveal 3-diamond ring. “We’ve been close friends since we were babies. I’ve been in love with you for so long. These 3 years since we’ve been together has made me really happy.” Jason kneeled down on one knee as he finished. “Kimberly Ann Hart will you marry me?”

Kimberly’s eyes flooded with tears. “Yes!” She cried. “Yes, yes!” In one swift move she grabbed his neck pulling him down so their lips met.

After a few minutes they pulled apart and Jason slid the ring on Kimberly’s finger.

Kimberly admired her new piece of jewelry.

Chapter 2 pairing: Adam/Tanya
Timeframe: Turbo the day after ‘Passing The Torch part 2’.

Angel Grove
Park Residence
Living Room

Adam Park, and Tanya Sloan were seating on the couch as they watched a movie, but when a commercial came on Adam got up from the couch as he said.

“I’ll be back.” He disappeared down the hall only to return a minute later with his hand behind his back.

Tanya cocked her head. “What are you up to?” She asked as she watched her boyfriend.

Adam smiled as he walked over to her. “This.” He moved his left hand from behind his back to show a small black velvet box resting in his palm.

Tanya’s eyes widened. “Adam?”

The Asian man grinned as he kneeled down on one knee saying. “Tanya, when we first met you I fell for you from the beginning. You’ve always been my number one girl.” Adam opened the small box to reveal the diamond ring as he finished. “My high school sweetheart.” He looked up at her. “Will be my Mrs. Will you marry me?”

Tears were racing down Tanya’s cheeks. “Yes!” She fell into his arms.

Adam smiled as he slid the ring on Tanya’s finger, then she grabbed his face pulling him into a long deep kiss, the movie on the TV was now forgotten as the two got lost in their kiss.

Chapter 3 pairing: Rocky/Katherine
Timeframe: In Space during the ending of the episode ‘Countdown To Destruction part 1’.

Angel Grove
In The City

Rocky DeSantos, and Katherine Hillard were standing in an empty street. “Rocky will you please tell me what’s wrong?” Kat was asking with concern. “And don’t you dare tell me your fine cause I know your not.”

Rocky looked at her. “Your right.” He told her calmly. “I’m not fine, I’m not alright.” He ran his hands through his hair with a sigh as he sat down on the street.

Katherine sat down next to her close friend. “Please tell me Rocky.”

Rocky turned his head to look at her. “I’m in love with you.” He confessed.

Katherine’s blue eyes widened. “In love with me?”

Rocky nodded. “I have for a long time.” He got up and started to pace as he continued. “I’ve had a crush on you since you joined the team. But you were with Tommy and I didn’t want to screw up our friendship and especially the team.” He looked at her. “So I stayed quiet and forgot about my crush on you.” He sighed looking away. “But when I left. The crush I had on you grew.”

Rocky looked at Kat as he said. “Now I’m too late.” He walked over to her, kneeled down in front of her and picked at the beautiful ring that was dangling on a chain that was around her neck.

Now she understood. “Rocky.” She reached for his hand. “You don’t understand.”

Rocky nodded. “Yes I do.” He gently pulled his hand out of her hand and stood up, a look of hurt clear as day on his face. “I’m happy for you Kat.”

Kat stood up and walked over to him, in one swift move she wrapped and locked her arms around Rocky’s neck and quickly pulled him to her. Their lips met in a tender kiss, when it started to grow Rocky quickly pulled away from her.

“Katherine what are you doing?” This time it was Rocky’s turn to be confused as he stared at her.

Katherine couldn’t help but smile. “Rocky.” She reached for her ring. “This ring isn’t real.”

“Huh?”

Kat laughed softly. “There is no one special in my life.” She reached up and fisted the ring that dangled from her neck. “This ring is fake.” She smiled at him. “I got it from Wal-Mart just last week.”

Rocky smiled. “Really?”

Kat laughed as she walked up to him. “Yes! You big Ape.”

Rocky smiled. He loved everything about Kat. “I don’t know what to say.” He honestly didn't know what to say.

Kat placed a gentle hand on his chest as she said. “You want me? I’m yours. I love you too.”

Rocky smiled and he quickly leaned toward her, their lips meeting for a long kiss as her hands fisted in his blue torn shirt, pulling him closer as his arms wrapped and tightened around her.

I especially loved, "I got it from Wal-Mart last week" and "You big Ape!"< That gave us a little something to wink at *mighty morphin*.

Chapter 4 pairing: TJ/Cassie

Timeframe: In the Lost Galaxy season, the day after ‘Power Of Pink’.

General Store

Cassie Chan was seating on the bench, she didn’t care about the rain, as it soaked her. Her tears mixed with the rain that was on her face.

As she continued to stare out into space lost in thought, she jumped looking up she didn’t feel the rain pouring on her.

Theodore Jay Jarvis Johnson (TJ) was seating next to her, he was holding an umbrella above her. “Here you are.”

Cassie looked away from him just as twin tears rolled down her cheeks. “How did you find me?”

“DECA.” TJ answered.

“What do you want?” The Asian in pink asked.

“You have to stop beating yourself up over what happened.” TJ told her. “It isn’t good for you.”

“You didn’t witness Kendrix’s death!” Cassie snapped. “And it wasn’t your morpher that caused that big whirlwind!”

TJ nodded silently, he wrapped his arm around Cassie’s shoulders and pulled her to him for a side hug.

Cassie laid her head on his shoulder. “Why didn’t he come?”

TJ was confused. “Who?”

“The Phantom Ranger.” Cassie answered.

TJ stayed quiet. It was no fair, he liked her first.

“Why didn’t he come?”

TJ shook his head. “I don’t know.”

“Why are you so tense all of a sudden?” Cassie asked as she moved her head from his shoulder and looked at him.

TJ shook his head. “I’m not tense.” He argued.

“Yes, you are.” Cassie argued back.

TJ sighed. “Fine.” He looked away from her, then turned to look at her again. “I love you. I’ve been in love with you for 3 years now. It started when we first met when we began our Turbo Ranger days, then it grew when we joined Andros to be the Space Rangers, now we’re retired. And the feelings I have for you are still here.”

Cassie stared at him. “All that time?” She asked, when he stayed quiet asked again. “All that time, why didn’t you say anything to me?”

The rain started to slow and it finally stopped and TJ moved the umbrella as he closed it. “Because.” He set the umbrella on the ground next to him. “I didn’t want to lose our friendship, and it would’ve hurt the team.”

Once again tears rolled down Cassie’s cheeks. “I’m sorry.”

TJ looked at her, he reached up and gently whipped away her tears. “But I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere.”

Cassie burst into tears and through herself at him. “Oh TJ, I’m so sorry!” She cried into his blue t-shirt. “You’ve been there for me all this time, and I never knew!”

TJ hugged her tightly, he had a feeling that their friendship had changed to something more.

Chapter 5 pairing: Leo/Karone

Timeline: Lost Galaxy at the end of the season.

Park

Karone of KO-35 was seating under a big shady tree, her back was leaned up against the rough bark.

Leo Corbett walked over to her. “Karone?”

Karone looked up and smiled. “Hi.”

Leo sat down next to her as he asked. “You’re really leaving?” He asked worriedly.

“Does it matter?” Karone asked. “Kendrix is back, I’m sure you two have a lot to catch up on.” She got up.

“Wait.” Leo reached for her hand. “What are you talking about?”

Karone turned back around to face him. “Maya told me about the two of you.”

Leo pulled her back and Karone fell into his lap. “We’re just good friends.”

“Am I supposed to believe that?” Karone asked.

“Here’s what you can believe.” Leo leaned toward her and kissed her tenderly, before the kiss could go farther Karone quickly pulled away.

“I don’t understand.” The blonde replied.

Leo reached forward and gently caressed her cheek gently. “When Kendrix died, yes I missed her. But only like a sister.” He leaned toward her and kissed her lightly. “I love you. I don’t care who you were in the past.”

A small smile escaped Karone’s lips. “You love me?”

Leo nodded. “Yes.”

A beautiful smile lit Karone’s face. “Really?”

Leo returned the smile. “Yeah. I really do.” He leaned toward her again and kissed her gently. Karone wrapped and locked her arms around his neck, pulling him close.

Chapter 6 pairing: Mike/Maya

Timeline: Time Force season.
Planet Mirinoi
Corbett Residence
Living Room

Mike Corbett was seating on the couch with Maya of Mirinoi, his girlfriend of 2 years. “So, what was it that you wanted to talk to me about?” Maya asked.

Mike shifted around to face her. “You know I love you right?”

Maya nodded. “Of course.” She smiled. “I love you too.”

Mike leaned toward her and kissed her gently. “I’ll be right back.” He got up and walked away and disappeared around the corner, he reappeared with his right hand behind his back.

“What are you up to?” Maya asked as she watched him.

“Maya.” Mike walked over and stood in front of her.

Maya gasped as Mike got down on one knee.

“I love you so much. I don’t want to lose you.” Mike opened the small velvet box to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. “I asked Jar for permission for your hand.” With his free hand he reached for Maya’s hand and held it gently. “Will you marry me?”

Tears were flooding down Maya’s cheeks. “YES!” She cried. “Yes, yes!” She through herself at Mike.

Mike slid the ring onto Maya’s finger, then pulled her into a long kiss.

Chapter 7 pairing: Kai/Kendrix
Timeline: Lost Galaxy at the end of the season.

Kendrix Morgan was seating on a bench, she was looking up at the beautiful night sky lost in thought.

Kai Chen walked over to her. “Kendrix?” He sat down next to the blonde. “Are you ok?”

Kendrix looked at him. “Of course I am. Why wouldn’t I be?”

Kai shrugged. “Well. You’ve been quiet since Leo chose Karone.”

Kendrix looked down. “I wanted Karone to take my place. Not Leo’s heart.”

“Kendrix.” Kai said in a stern voice.

Kendrix got up from the bench. “I saw him first.” She argued.

Kai folded his arms over his chest as he leaned backwards on the bench. “There are other fish in the sea.” Besides he saw Kendrix first. He looked away. “Like maybe me.” He got up and started to walk away.

Kendrix still had her back turned to her close friend. “What are you talking about?” The blonde turned around to see
Kai’s back as he walked away from her. “Kai!” She ran after him.

Entrance Of The Park

Kai stopped just at the entrance, turned sideways to look at the park. Sighing Kai turned around and started to head out of the empty park.

Kendrix ran into view and stopped. “Kai!” She ran the short distance to him.

Kai stopped and turned back around. “What?”

“Are you trying to tell me that you have feelings for me?” Kendrix asked.

Kai could only nod. “Yeah. I have.” He said honestly. “For a long time. When the two of us along with Mike started with Terra Venture.”

Kendrix stared at him. “Did, Mike. Did he know?”

“About how I felt for you?” Kai asked. “Yeah. I missed you more then Leo did. I didn’t want to hurt our long time friendship, so I never said anything to you.”

Kendrix smiled. “You’ve been my best friend for so long.” She reached out and took his hand. “I think we can work it out together.”

Kai blinked. “Really?” He grinned.

Kendrix reached up and gave him a quick kiss. “I’m willing to give it a shot. If you are.”

Kai was grinning like an idiot. “Better believe it!” He pulled Kendrix into a tight hug.

Chapter 8 pairing: Carter/Dana
Timeline: Lightspeed Rescue the day after ‘Fate Of Lightspeed part 2’.

Mariner Bay
Park

Carter Grayson, and Dana Mitchell walked down a path. “You wanted to talk to me?” Dana was asking.

Carter nodded. “Yeah.” He stopped walking and Dana stopped next to him.

“What’s wrong Carter?” The pretty blonde asked.

Carter was nervous. “Dana, if I had to picture my perfect girlfriend, I’d want it to be you.”

Dana tried to blink back her tears.

Carter reached for her hand and held it gently. “Will you be my girlfriend?”

Dana smiled through her tears. “Yes.”

Carter returned the smile and bent down, kissing her gently.
